Abba House children’s home, is an orphanage but not in the traditional since. Here 36 orphaned and destitute children are receiving care. It started with a small team from Missouri making a short term trip to Uganda. Bethany Hartzler, Stacie Shaw and John Gross saw the need, gathered friends to pray, rallied the troops and God moved.
Today there are two new homes, housing 16 children each, built by loving and caring donors. This Abba House community is operated by the combined efforts of House of Friends (US) and Grace Global Impact Ministries (Uganda).
The children in these homes attend a school founded by Global Impact Ministries (an Indiana non-profit) and operated in partnership with Grace Global Impact Ministries (Uganda).
That which is taking place in Entebbe is a picture of the Body of Christ, here and across the world, working together to bring hope to the orphaned and destitute children in this community of Uganda.
